THE CONDITION OF TODAY'S CHURCHES

Spiritual deception is hidden in today's churches.  It masquerades itself as truth. Many people are drawn into deception by wanting a higher level of understanding of God's written words. They fail to realize the danger of adding or taking away from the text by visualizing new truths or asserting new revelations. It is absolutely imperative to measure everything we are told or taught against the scriptures in the Bible to see if it is true. 

Proverbs 30:5-6 (NKJV)

⁵ Every word of God is pure;
He is a shield to those who put their trust in Him.
⁶ Do not add to His words,
Lest He rebuke you, and you be found a liar.

Revelation 22:18-19 (KJV)    

18 For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book:

19 And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book
